The Sky Pier itself is an impressive structure, it projects 21.6m from the original lookout. They also have a really nice cafe but is a bit on the pricy side so its wise to bring food and drinks. 2. If you want to walk along the 1.3km Rainforest Boardwalk it will cost $9 for adults. Not close to anything really so take what you need in with you. Driving around the area was a little confusing also as its on the border of NSW and QLD, and daylight savings was in effect and our clock kept changing. The Coffs Coast is the only region in New South Wales where the mountains of the Great Dividing Range meet the Pacific Ocean. It is located within the Bruxner Park Flora Reserve in the vast Orara East State Forest. Another reason to visit Kirra Beach is not only the beach itself, but also the range of beautiful Gold Coast scenery that it has to offer with scenic footpaths, headland, golden sand and greenery all combining to make it a picturesque locale. The cafe/restaurant was very good. Its just a short drive from Coffs Harbour but the trip will be well worth the effort and time spent. Not just quick pit stops where the kids can let off some steam, but beautiful places to stay for a while. Nice cafes opposite the beach.
